Topics as laboratory and field methods for soil pollutants analyses, strategy of sampling and monitoring of polluted sites, sources, movement, interaction and transformation of soil pollutants, risk assessment of combined and complex exposure and effects of soil chemical pollution, management of soil pollution, prevention strategies and remediation are discussed. Recommendations concerning the fields of research needs, management of chemical polluted soils, environmental and environmental health policies and public communication and education are formulated
